ARGUETE Beach Resort - Located right next to the border of Argao, this beach club was once one of the most popular deluxe beach resorts in the Philippines. It was one of the big income earners of the town of Dalaguete during its heyday when foreign holiday makers came to enjoy the excellent amenities and facilities it offered. An airstrip was purposely built to accommodate small chartered planes but was not finished after Marcos was ousted. Today, the place is no longer what it used to be, but one thing for sure, the sandy white beach is still there. The same turquoise water is still inviting.
